Black silk velvet dress & jacket w/ stenciled bands in motif of enclosed double boteh & broad single botehs w/ stylized lotus petals in shades of gold, red, green & white, sleeveless dress w/ SH straps extending over front drape & into sides of deep V back, matching jacket w/ elbow length sleeves, deep front reveres, lined in black silk taffeta, dress B 32”, W 24”, L 55”, jacket B 34”, L 20”, (minor cracking to stenciling, 1” repair CB seat, few wear spots/minor crushing, 1.5” repair to belt tip, 0.25” seam opening left closure) very good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
