Sheer cotton woven with check pattern alternating with leno weave net, embroidered with chain stitch in vertical bands, square neckline, long sleeves with puff at top of shoulder, slim skirt with extra fabric gathered at center back, slight train, bodiceback and sleeve caps lined in thin cotton, drawstring neckline and waist, three narrow triple rows of tucks at hem, (1" tear at center neckline and back closure, period mends, possibly originally a short sleeved dress) good.
