Wool day dress printed in berry cluster drouget w/ branching parsley foliate seafoam green ground, tambour embroidered net collar, needlework CF button closures, box pleated ruffle applied to yoke & back of military shaped sleeves, piped armscye & W, full skirt w/ double box pleat at front Hs & cartridge pleated at CB, late 1850s, B 35", W 27.5", L 51.5", (5 detached buttons/2 incl, small shatter spots throughout, 1.75" tear in CF ruffle, hem unfinished/raw & uneven, light stains to underarms & hem, scattered spot stains, many small fusible patches to stablilize shatters) fair.
