All tapestry woven wool & linen in various techniques & with natural dyes, probably from tunics: 1 w/ faces & animal on white backing, fragment 7.25"x3.5", w/ backing 9.5"x5.5", (worn, dirty, holes, 1.5" area weave missing); 1 mustard & brown w/ canines & swirls, 4"x1.75", (white stitches from museum label); 1 tan & black w/ geometric patterns, 10"x3.5", (stains, 1 hole); 1 red square w/ black floral center, 4"x4.5", (binding b/t panels partly missing, 2 holes, stains); 1 red & brown stripes, 2.25"x6.75", (patches of missing weave, 1" hole); 1 red & tan w/ round center, 8.25"x5.5", (very worn, lots of weave missing, stained), (most w/ worn & frayed edges) poor- excellent.
