Purple cut cotton velvet coat w/ lapel & cuff of cream & purple shag pile in motif based on velvet body, free front w/ tie closure, lined in white china silk, label “Marque Deposee Becker Fils, Paris, 1925”, B 44”, L 49”, (light wear to chenille esp. CB collar, loose stitches b/t cuffs, trim possibly removed from hem w/ remnant gauze backing, lining has minor stressing SH seams & few tiny stains) Excellent. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
