2-pc evening gown of floral ribbon satin damask w/ finely ribbed striped silk, burnt sienna milliner’s velvet puff sleeves & skirt panels, CF bodice & faux petticoat front of cream silk satin embroidered w/ pearl & paste drop motifs, petersham label applied to Wband of skirt “Pa–, Richmond”, B 34”, L 15”, skirt W 22”, L 40”, (laces shown N/I, label not original, light crushing & minor discoloration to velvet, few missing beads & stones esp. CF skirt panel, few pinholes collar, moderate wear & alterations/repairs to skirt Wband, tarnish to stone settings, few 0.25”-1.5” light stains CB skirt, few loose stitches b/t skirt panels, light discoloration hem) Very Good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
